The Brit Insurance Design Awards were handed out last night at London’s Design Museum. The Obama poster was the overall winner, but I’m coveting this Magno wooden radio, designed by Indonesian designer Singgih S. Kartono, and manufactured by local Indonesian craftspeople. It won the product prize, with judges citing its ”clear respect for the material it uses and sensibility to details.” Very Muji.
